Reader "Lee" sent in word that he called RVD's Internet radio show the other night to discuss the main topic of the show, which was whether RVD should return to WWE or go to TNA. When he called in, the person who was screening the calls asked whether he thinks RVD should go to WWE or TNA. When he said WWE, the screener responded, "Ok, well I will put you through anyway".
Lee got the strong impression that they were trying to get more TNA callers and push the possibility of RVD going to TNA. Van Dam mentioned during the show that going to TNA would put him closer to his parents, who live in Florida.
RVD to TNA could possibly be one of the biggest signings that TNA have ever made. If RVD was on the roster, the feuds and matches that could be created are endless. I would love to watch;
- AJ Styles vs RVD
- Abyss vs RVD
- Samoa Joe vs RVD
- Jay Lethal vs RVD
- Amazing Red vs RVD
- Daniels vs RVD
I do not know the chances of RVD making a debut in TNA but I really hope that TNA can make it happen, before WWE snap him up. It does however look like RVD wants to go to TNA, but it could be to leverage a better deal from WWE.
I really hope that Bound For Glory 09' can be the start of a new ERA in TNA, meaning the ERA of the young guys. I Hope that TNA sign Mr Kennedy and RVD, that would be a great start, as well as giving life to the X Division once again. TNA could really get a lot of use out of RVD, so if I was TNA I would do everything I could to sign him NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
